Deer Range Finder is a free application that allows you to measure the distance of a deer using your phones camera. You simply input the height your phone will be at when you want to obtain the distance of the deer, point the crosshair at the base of the deer and press the distance button. Deer Range Finder uses right angle trigonometry to estimate the distance so it is very important that you accurately input the height the camera is at when getting a distance. You can also measure the height of your tree stand using the "Measure Tree Stand Height" page so you can accurately get a distance from a tree stand. This program is used to get a close estimate, and assumes you are measuring on a flat surface. The more contoured the ground the less accurate your reading will be. This application also has a deer calls page which contaings a few of the more common deer calls.
